Is that the same Ward who said he would come down to 160 for Floyd ... or the Ward who's trainer said was going to be HW champ by the time he was 32?Comment

I totally agree with you. GGG is a beast! But in my opinion he's not held to the same standard as other fighters. Now days belts are overrated to an extent. You only need a couple which everyone knows at the end of the day who the best is. Floyd and Pac came up 5 classes or more from where they started. I can see if GGG was at 154 where there's tons of talent but to sit at 160 where there's only 2 that even had a chance to not win but test you is crazy but he still gets praised! Floyd was a small welter but they still said he needed to test himself at 154. It's not trolling it's truth. These aren't opinions these are facts!!!!Not defending him. I just don't care about belts. I actually have more of an issue with Canelo making jr middleweights come up to 155 than GGG to come down to 155. Belts don't define the boxing landscape for me.
As for discrediting GGG, call it whatever you want. When I see GGG. I see a guy that is unquestioned top middleweight in the world chasing guys that do nothing for him legacy-wise. And using them not wanting to fight him as a crutch for not moving on to genuinely challenge himself. If that's trolling, so be it.Comment

How is it greed? its greed that showtime wants a cut with a fighter that they dont even have a contract with. Boxing is about making fights and fighting the best. If this was like the pac-may situation where both fighters had contracts then yes the blame would be on HBO but since stevenson is free to fight on any network is just plain b.sComment
