It's simply there to get Danny more accustomed to the WW division. After this fight, he'll take on good challengers and champions. Believe me.

And keep banking on that upset, it will never happen.

Now he moves up and takes fight after fight that mean nothing essentially.
When established names move up and continue to fight second rate opponents that shows where his team thinks he's at as a fighter..

I hope Guerrero has a little fight left in him and is not shot.. Would love to see the upset and listen to Danny's father cry like a bichhhhh...
The only way Danny can prove much is to be the first to stop the rugged Guerrero. If Garcia wins a one sided decision he didn't do anything that Thurman already did. Most fans think Guerrero lost his last fight too. Garcia is expected to win. If you bet money on Garcia to win you must put up $900 to win $100.

Unless he knocks him out early which I doubt happens.

I'm still looking forward to it though myself.

Is his career ending after Saturday?

Nothing, on to the next fight in which he would have to defend his new WBC Welterweight Belt vs Amir Khan

I have to be honest, the man has had some controversial wins but for his first to fights to be vs Paulie and Robert Guerrero that is not a bad start to his Welterweight Career at all

I don't get the point of this thread. This is a decent fight to get acclimated to a new division.
Danny has'nt fought at 140 in 2 years. Are we really to the point of defending guys moving up in weight, who do it in 2lb increments? Hell looking at Danny's boxrec, he has fought at welterweight in 20 of his 31 fights. Alo this is a **** fight because Guerrero is 2-2 in his last four fights, arguably 1-3, and its for a ****ing title. Needs to get acclimated, but here is a strap for you in a division you supposadly are'nt quite ready for. lol

But those 2 losses were to Thurman and Mayweather; two of the best in the division. I thought he got a gift against Martinez too but he just proved against Devon Alexander that he can fight and shouldn't be overlooked.

I don't like the fight but to say it proves absolutely nothing is a stretch. Peterson had tremendous success in the pocket against Garcia in the later rounds and that's where Guerrero likes to do most of his work since he moved up in weight.

And besides, you've rarely seen Guerrero in a boring fight with the exception of Mayweather. Garcia will step up and face better welterweights later this year but as of right now, he's got a tough, desperate contender in front of him who always comes to fight. This will be a fun fight to watch.
