Unless he does a spectacular show and early.round stoppage, it doesn't mean too much but will def get his ratigs higher since its on fox

Did his power move up with him?

How well does he handle pressure?

How effective is he fighting close range?

How does he measure with Thurman?

How well can he manage distance?

I don't get the point of this thread. This is a decent fight to get acclimated to a new division.

Guerrero is A better fighter if he still has something left, which I don't know if he does, Haymon has been recycling him from one tough fight to the next before he finally stuck him in with his boy toy Garcia.

Danny hasn't looked good in the ring in a long time, unless you think Guerrero is washed up, i see no reason to think Garcia is going to have an easy fight.

It's simply there to get Danny more accustomed to the WW division. After this fight, he'll take on good challengers and champions. Believe me.

And keep banking on that upset, it will never happen.
Why should Garcia need to get more accustom to the welterweight division? Welterweights fight exactly like jr. welterweights only they are 7 pounds bigger and stronger which isn't much. Garcia claims he was killing himself getting to 140 so he should be 7 pounds bigger and stronger at 147 himself. Either he can cut it against the best of the welterweights or he can't. Another cherry pick fight with Guerrero won't suddenly make him all accustom to 147. Garcia already had a fight with Peterson at 143 and a fight with Paulie at 147. How many damn cherry picks does Garcia need to get accustom to 147 and start fighting the best welterweights? Garcia is fighting yet another cherry pick and getting the WBC welterweight title handed to him barring an unlikely Guerrero win. Right after he beats Guerrero you say he will take on good challengers and champions. Well he should have already done that by now.
