I don't even get this thread when nowadays legend and money go together. Only reason why you'll go broke is because you're spending what you earned like water coming out of the faucet.

Show me a current potential legend that's not being compensated properly.

OK, it seems like you need an example. Lets say you are Leo Santa Cruz, are you going to stay at 122lbs and risk fighting Rigo for a small purse, or are you going to run to another organization to get paid more to fight lesser opponents? Beating a guy like Rigondeaux wouldve raised LSC's stock as boxer and Im sure people wouldve began naming him with legendary Mexican boxers like Barerra & Morales but hes happy fighting taco vendors for 6-7 figures. Im not hating just giving an example.

LSC will be properly compensated for fighting Rigo. After all, he got $750K for fighting a former sparring partner. $50K more than what Danny Garcia got, which was $700K in his Salsa fight.

I still don't see your point. LSC is not avoiding Rigo for the money or lack of it, although he wanted $2 million. Point is, he won't go broke either way.
