Please don't think for one second that Wilder is going to make the same mistake Wladimir made. Klitschko was too tentative, passive and gun shy in there against Fury. You can expect Wilder to make it a firefight. Once Wilder begin to let his hands go all bets are off as he'll win hands down.If we assume for the sake of argument that Wilder does have a superior power-chin combination; it sure is a good thing for Fury that the object of boxing isn't to stand squared up in front of your opponent in turns with your hands at your hips and take turns delivering undefended punches to one another's face.Comment

There's a difference between getting punched in a fight and having utter disregard for avoiding punches at all.Have you ever seen the Hagler/Hearns fight? Marvin walked straight through Tommy's power with blatant disregard for it as he ate him up like Pac man. He took hearns' best shots before eventually knocking him out in round 3. I mean Hagler was willing and able to walk through the fiery pits of hell in order to score that KO victory.
TV is deceptive.Comment

Cunningham is a career cruiserweight, not light heavyweight. He is also a multi-time world champion, whereas Sconier is a designated opponent who's main job is to pad records of prospects.Comment

Wilder is very limited. He isn't on Fury or Wlad's level. Please don't think for one second that Wilder is going to make the same mistake Wladimir made. Klitschko was too tentative, passive and gun shy in there against Fury. You can expect Wilder to make it a firefight. Once Wilder begin to let his hands go all bets are off as he'll win hands down.
Fury wouldn't have any trouble handling him.Comment

Fury has enough power to take Wilder out, no doubt about that. And he has the speed and reach to make it count.
Fury vs Wilder would have awesome build-up and it could be the fight to put HW boxing back where it used to be in the good old days.
I really hope it happens.Comment

Peter Fury says they'll be targeting Wilder after he's dealt with Klitschko. Peter is a man of his word. However i fully expect Wilder to duck him.Comment

Wlad threw the Fury fight and made $50 million
Wlad threw the Fury fight for a reason to collect millions on his loss. The rematch will expose Fury as the OAF Fury is a soft lopsided flabby weak bowling pin shaped goof.Comment

After he turned down a shot at Wlad in 2012, many people doubted Peter's word when he said that Tyson was ready and they would be going after Wlad as soon as the eliminator with Chisora was won.
But he was true to his word then and there's no reason not to believe him now.
It takes 2 to tango though, and If Wilder gets past Povetkin, I expect Haymon to target the winner of Martin/Glazkov next, not Fury/Wlad.Comment

Yeah, cuz Wlad, co-owner of one of the biggest promotion companies in boxing, with his Hollywood movie star wife, and millions banked and invested from over 20 world title fights, was desperate for a bit of dosh.
