power doesn't simply come from "trying to throw" or giving the "illusion" of a hard shot...it is turning your body, great balance, speed, technique and throwing the RIGHT shots from the right positions...
From watching this video...maybe your first punch...maybe 2nd punch would have a little snap behind it...but the rest will dwindle as you tire from throwing out of techinque and rebalancing yourself after every shot...
I recommend you work mainly on technique and wait for the power to come...
and don't go into this thinking "I am going to be a power puncher"...you will find out soon enough what you are...Comment

You leave your self to open!
Your going to get KO'ed when you fight someone who knows how to fight! Keep your hands up. You look lazy when throw punches.Comment

bending with your knees more and not with your waist. Do not punch while walking punch while sliding. This will improve your balance. Punch through what you are hitting not at it. Try to punch the guy holding the bag not the bag itself.Comment

good points but he is bending over too much while throwing which will hurt his d as well not just his hand placement your very right about a more up and down stance but he needs to bend more with his knees while punching instead of leaning in which will allow him to sit down more on his punches and gernerate power from his hips and troso and hips not his arems and shouldersOriginally posted by Asian SensationYour balance is terrible, which is where the power comes from. You are a southpaw, but you square up when you finish your punches. Also, you don't bring your hands back into the proper position after you punch. You leave your hands out to long, that **** can get you killed. Just stick to straight up boxing and you'll be much better off. Trying to go out there and kill with every shot is not something I recommend for serious boxers.Comment
