Guys get punched in the ***ing head for a living, why would we be mad at them for trying to make the most money possible every time they fight. If Networks want the big fights they have to PAY just like we have the pay for PPV's for big fights!

Not much has changed in boxing over the years, boxing fans are just becoming more and more ignorant and Disrespectful because they think some how they're making a impact on the boxing world by posting ****** stuff on a forum. What are boxing fans doing for Magomed Abdusalamov now that he can't box and take care of his family
Mind you majority of these guys don't have medical benefits or any of that stuff, they're basically Freelancers with No Benefits, No Union or any of that **** so YES they should make the most they can every time they step into a ring

No one is supporting ducking per say... I think some people actually realise that boxers are people like you and I. They are in the sport to make money, giving fans what they want is secondary. On the rare occasion that the fight that fans want is the most lucrative relative to the risk then the big fight happens.
The guys like the OP that make threads like this seem to view boxers as Stone Age Neanderthals with no families that must fight for people's entertainment. That's why you hear stuff like "why did he quit because of a broken jaw? ..... He's a coward" ...... "Why did he leave HBO and go somewhere that's paying him much more? ..... He's a coward"
No one supports ducking but some of us understand that there is business side to it woven with risk and reward... The GGG crusade were very quick to understand this when Ward was involved.Comment

boxing fans in general are getting real tired of this "slickster" era of boxing. the same era that encourages not just ducking but also literally running for your life in the ring and pretending it's elite defensive boxing. "what a tactical genius tho!" "so crafty tho!"Comment

Same fans also likely accused Prichard Colon of faking a injury during his last fight I sure. People demand a lot from these guys but clearly have absolutely NO RESPECT for what they do but yet you want them to take big fights for whatever the amount that is offered to them

I repeat, Deontay Wilder has defeated more top-3 ranked contenders in his career (1) than Golovkin has in his (0).Are you really taking this route? A guy who didn't become Paper Champ until he was 33-0 who is ducking his #1 mandatory by dragging it out till the last minute VS a Middleweight Paper Champ (yes GGG is still not the real Champ) who currently is the #1 mandatory to Canelo's Real middleweight crown, who nabbed up a Interim WBA Belt at 18-0 and has been making title defenses for the last 5 years.

Exactly this!!! "It's a business, fighters need to look out for themselves! It's dangerous they have families to feed!" And yet the Salka's of the world and the male stripper Quillin fought nearly died in the ring. Such a joke.
On top of that this is a SPORT. The best are supposed to fight the best, period. So sick of so called boxing fans condoning this bull**** that hurts the sport tremendously.Comment
