You do realize that the differences here is Canelo is trying to drain a guy in his own division, when he owns a title and the lineal title. It would be one thing if Canelo could make 154, but everyone knows he can't do it. He failed in his last attempt and has sat at 1 pound above.

And he has the gull calling it his weight class. Canelo isn't that specially.

By the time they fight, GGG will own 3/4 of the MW titles, and will be one step away from unification. Also, he'll be the mandatory. If Canelo doesn't fight, he will lose tons of respect from hardcore fans, something he has done over the last few years anyways.

Many people liked Canelo before this whole I'm too big for JRMW, but too scared for 160 BS.

The guy is rehydrating up to 180 now, for Christ sakes.

From a top down picture, ok.

Look at some of the others from the side and you can see Chevez looks like a damn HW, while GGG looks his normal size.

Both Chavez and Canelo have spent their career draining way more weight that usual so they can fight in a lower weight class. Ward too.

In all fairness, so does Lara, Charlo, and Andrade. Those two and GGG all are legit MW sized fighters.

Canelo comes in heavier than all of them.

Wait a minute, have you ever heard of Hagler?

    Come the **** on.

And it's not like Canelo moved up when he stop making weight for 154. He tried to make his own division. The I'm scared of GGG at 160 division.

There are plenty of differences between a MW and SMW meeting in the middle of their respective weight classes.

What Canelo is trying to do is the equivalent of Andrade attempting to drain Charlo.

And even if 155 was an actually division, splitting the difference wouldn't be 155.

GGG didn't do as Ward did Dawson, drag him all the way down.

If Canelo was willing to meet at 157.5, then we'd have similarities.

Although the fact Canelo is a MW, and GGG is a MW changes the equation entirely.

GGG beats Suanders, it's Strengthens his position

When GGG bests Suanders, who is negotiating with GGG, then it strengthens his bargaining position with Canelo.

And it has to be at 160.

Give me one good reason Canelo should be allowed to become the unified MW champion, all four major titles, without winning it at 160

He shouldn't, and it's asinine that his supporters thinks that's ok.

GGG will have won all his titles at 160, even the vacant one he obtained. He had to fight to get into that position.

If Canelo wants to be the unified MW champ like B-hop, he should man the fuuuuck up.

I'm a canelo fan but used to be a much bigger canelo fan before this 155 BS. Any fan that supports it or argues in favor of it is a clown.

I hope he doesn't budge on this and weaken himself for a cash out.

Dictate to Canelo what? Fighting for the Middleweight title at the legal limit of 160?

Lil G asking Ward to drop to 164 was a "Drain Move" as well....but through robotic nerdy intuition, excuses get passed around as justifiable reasons....sprinkled with a bit of political correctness for the zombies to feed off of and you'll see a bunch of cats posting "Ward is a LHW, he should fight Krusher"

Lil G tried to come in Ward's neighborhood and take Ward's money...Froch and Jr are Ward's hoes....so Ward being the pimp that he is, had to put Lil G in his place by calling him out and punking him...so Lil G countered with a bunch of nothing and a CW that would drain Ward....bottom line, reading between the lines or whatever, HE DIDN'T WANT NO PARTS OF SOG!!!!...period!!

Now karma is biting him in his own neighborhood where he's the so called baddest dude on the block....the boogeyman, the Debo, the Mr. 97k of the MW division is getting drained by a Young Talented SUPERSTAR who don't give a damn about the belt or Lil G

Pac fights Hoya at 147 and Cotto at 145....but Marquez is the one who had the most success against him and iced him....he wasn't drained

Nelo gets washed by Floyd at 152....but Cotto and Chino gives Floyd hell at 154 and 147....they wasn't drained

Pac and Floyd been flexing A side muscle just like ALL the top draws before them...Nelo is next up, and he's flexing his A side muscle just like the greats have done...just like Lil G tried to do to Ward.....it's that A side bs, and depending on which fighter is flexing the muscle, it will get defended or bashed by a CERTAIN group

one minute they support it, the next minute they're against it
Stop repeating what other people have said like a damned parrot and try thinking for yourself for a change.

None of the examples you give here or in your other parrot post are comparable to what is going on between Canelo and Golovkin. This is a lineal world champion trying to use A side status to impose a catchweight on a mandadory challenger.

That's something that's never happened in boxing before, ever.

There's no such thing as a mandatory for a lineal title. Lineal titles have been fought for and won at catchweights.

Canelo is the lineal AND WBC champ.

The truth is, without that WBC belt, his claim to be the lineal MW champ would be meaningless.

GGG is as delusional and ****** as his ret@rded fanbase. I'm starting to think he doesn't want the Canelo fight. Just like he wanted no part of Ward.
