i give it to lamont peterson...
i have to support a guy who challenges himself
furthermore it hink a close loss is better than a one side win..
floyd and all those guys are popular picks, but im not casual..i dont need popularity
peterson in my eyes beat danny garcia and he also beat a gold medal winner...
even if u feel he lost to peterson it was close, and i think we should value fighters who give us the fights we want..
not one that fight pac and then say "im fightin berto in a interview"
im a floyd fan but fight like betro, kirkland, and christian hammer should not be praised...
    THANKS FOR YOUR TIME

        Lol

Peterson lost to Danny G. and got a gift against Diaz. I'll give him the boxer with the ugliest beard award though.

Ok - 13/16 Bscene staff picked Fury to get badly beaten. He wins 25 out of 36 rounds on the judges scorecards against the guy who was unbeaten and untouched in 11 years and P4P #2 on Bscene's list.

Mayweather beat a guy ranked lower on their own P4P list, who was a couple of fights away from a bad KO and had taken another loss and dubious decisions in the last years - And to add to that his performance was not as strong and the fight was a worse stinker than the Fury fight

          Anyway...
"Could" is not concrete. He could have performed better against Klitschko and still lost top honors to Mayweather.

Mayweather easily beat Pacquiao, and no one in the boxing world is going to rank Klitschko as a better win than Pacquiao, whether you like that or not. Mayweather was a lock for FOTY as soon as they announced the unanimous decision.

na he didnt get early round in which the likes of floyd would have got for outboxing then when he turned it up he shut him out...
and he beat diaz imo..it could have easily been 3-0 after the firt 3 rounds he landed the harder shots and he didnt let diaz steal rounds like diaz started to do..it was a very close fight...BOTH WERE...
but my entire point is we moan and complain about easy fights..but we dont give guys credit when they get into great fights on paper..is it not time to change that??
if not please dont talk about GGG's resume anymore..please dont be upset when canelo makes u buy rosado as ppv...or better yet when ward fights guys the commision wants to reject..

resume of the year at least...like i said close losses in a close matchups should be treated better than wins vs easy opponents.
            just one man's opinion..

WTF are you talking about. Everyone thought Mayweather would beat Pacquiao, nobody thought Fury would beat Klitschko.

Fury beat Klitschko better than Mayweather beat Pacquiao. I'll give you that. Fair is fair.

Maywather beat a greater fighter than Fury did though, and beating a lesser fighter "better" doesn't hold much weight when discussing FOTY. Greater win = greater honors.

Beating a greater fighter when he's past his best means less. Especially when he's lost a couple of fights and looked bad in others.

Fury beat the heavyweight champion of 10 years. A guy they said could beat Muhammad Ali with one arm tied behind his back.

Klitschko is clearly a greater win than Pacquiao 2015.

... naming Mayweather as the "Good Bye" FOTY is understandable...

bro pac has recnetly beat number 3 or 4 p4p bradley..klit still doesnt own a p4p win to this day!..he went 12 rounds with jennings and we see wat a newcomer did to jennings..
fact is fans are more excieted about pac's next fight than klits..bc they know klit is a stiff..who has no confidence in himself
