Comments Thread For: BoxingScene.com's 2015 Fighter of the Year

By Jake Donovan - Milwaukee Bucks 54, Miami Heat 50. If anyone was paying attention to the NBA game played at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, they’d have noticed that was the score at halftime.

Instead, it became the point when the foundation was laid for the biggest fight in boxing history. With such an event, the winner would seemingly gain recognition as the year’s top boxer.

There's no real way to justify him not getting it.

Reasonable. Can't argue with that really.

"A stronger performance vs Klitschko could have pushed him over the edge" - about Tyson Fury.

Ok - 13/16 Bscene staff picked Fury to get badly beaten. He wins 25 out of 36 rounds on the judges scorecards against the guy who was unbeaten and untouched in 11 years and P4P #2 on Bscene's list.

Mayweather beat a guy ranked lower on their own P4P list, who was a couple of fights away from a bad KO and had taken another loss and dubious decisions in the last years - And to add to that his performance was not as strong and the fight was a worse stinker than the Fury fight

            Anyway...

This is going to piss off 50 % of NSB but its the truth. Money May is the fighter of the year.

Edit: Most of Floyd's haters won't even know this thread exists because Floyd's name is not in the title Most of these guys only comment on threads that have the word "Mayweather" in the headline. Otherwise they don't even comment on particular threads. That just goes to show you how pathological these guys are in their hatred.

Both Vlad and Manny have been KO'd 3 times in their careers. Vlad is even older than Manny and his career never reached the heights that Manny Pacquiao's career reached. And no, the Fury fight was much worse. The commentating crew called it a "terrible fight" live on air as it was going on and Vlad had an even lower punch output than Manny Pacquiao.

Let's go with facts and not opinions. May Pac was a MUCH bigger fight in terms of legacy, notoriety, and financially. And Floyd won it.

Yeah I forgot that time 3 fights ago where Klitschko was put to sleep for 5 minutes.

Don't care which was the bigger fight. Fury beat the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world on the top of his game, who beat everyone convincingly in the past 2 eras.

Mayweather beat Pacquiao - A great champion. But in recent fights what happened?

                    Flattened by Marquez
                    Lost to Bradley
Should have lost to Marquez in III

                    Those are FACTS
