A fight with povetkin would change that, give that belt a shred of legitimacy,
This is just nonsense. Know who Fury fought before his Wlad fight? Christian Hammer. WTF is that you ask? Exactly. Of Povetkin's much ballyhooed four wins post-Wlad, the best was Takam, who is not even a top-10 HW.

If Wilder beats Sasha, he will have as good a resume as anyone prob outside of Fury (and that would be close). People need to get past the hate and wake up to reality

When the Wilder-Povetkin fight is made, I want to see Wilder haters on here showing up ready to post their Povetkin betting slips or they can STFU..

If your friend is telling you he saw Fury get beaten and busted up by Joshua in sparring then he is telling you porkies.. It never happened.

Joshua was still an amateur when he sparred Fury, this was back in 2010/2011. Fury was larking around with him in sparring and afterwards, because he didn't regard AJ as a threat or a rival, he cracked a few jokes about AJ supposedly beating him up, and the Chinese whisperers did their usual thing.

I also know talent when I see it, and AJ has talent, I'm not saying otherwise.

I'm not a betting man as a rule, but I put money on Fury beating Wlad, because the odds were just too good to ignore when I was so sure Tyson was going to win.

If Fury was fighting AJ next I would definitely take your £100 off you. Let's wait and see where they both are when and if it happens.

oh ok enough said.... stiverne did his back up & block routine... wasn't even hurt bad to warrant a stoppage

A paper champ is more like Thurman (& im a thurman fan) he was elevated to that belt and now is the legit WBA champ cuz floyd retired..... at least imo haha

wilder-martin would be a fine fight after povetkin was taken care of

i guess you are alluding to golovkin there, since everything seems to come back to him for the likes of you, and here's the difference: golovkin is chasing the best in his division while wilder is avoiding the best in his. stay on topic in future
Ha! You can't be chasing the best when you're constantly taking step aside fee's NOT to fight.

But I would prefer the povetkin fight 1st then maybe the fury fight.... martin can wait haha

Yeah, backed up and blocking punches with his face!

Miguel Cotto wants to fight Saul Alvarez next, not Golovkin. But Golovkin has turned down Miguel Cotto's offer of step aside money, so Miguel Cotto will now tell Saul Alvarez to go kick rocks and he will fight Golovkin instead.

              Yeah right!

He has talent but he is getting a bit long in the tooth, beating a guy with longer range requires at least a bit of an attitude that that won't stop them. That is a young man's trait, not impossible for Povetkin because he does have skills but I certainly see it as an uphill climb.

Of course he has only had 15 fights and now he will step up to a world level ...but the sort of power and speed he possesses is on a very high level....even the way he finsihed whyte with the uppercut inside is not of some normal heavyweight...takes tremendous timing and skill for 247 pound fighter to do that...he took his best shot as well and whyte would beat quite a few decent heavyweights for sure....my money is on Joshua to reach the very top 100 percent
