Ortiz has the stronger skillset. He clearly has a better mastery of the science. For example, I haven't seen a HW catch a guy rushing in w/ an uppercut since Holyfield. But, Fury has an X-factor in that he is strong-willed and bounces back from adversity quite well. He's been rocked quite a number of times and came back to win. I have it as an even fight until I see more of Ortiz.

Before the Wlad fight Fury was just a name I heard of from this site. I had never seen any of his fights in the past. But from what I've seen of him he seems pretty ordinary to me. Title or no title to me he's a patty melt hold the onions on a hamburger bun. Not even rye bread worthy.

It didn't sound like Max had a lot of respect for Fury during that telecast on Sat. That's fine - it's the typical reaction most have upon first exposure to Fury.

He looks like an oaf, he doesn't fit the archetype, he's a KO waiting to happen, so on and so forth, he's about a year behind NSB. It's kind of the same reaction WIlder gets. No matter how long they last they prob will never be accepted because they just look huge and uncoordinated

It's a good competitive fight IMO. I'd like to see it.
I rate Ortiz a lot, but after Fury beat Wlad..and with ease, i wouldn't be in any rush to bet against him against anyone right now.

No he wouldn't. Fury would run rings round that fat slob and make him eat jabs all night.

Styles make fights : I can't see Tyson stopping Jennings the way Ortiz did, he'd beat him by UD but he wouldn't stop him. On the flipside I'm doubtful whether Ortiz could do the same thing to Klitschko that Fury did, in the same manner. He may or may not beat Klitschko.

So whether Ortiz beats Fury, it's a toss up. Very intriguing match up though, look forward to that one if and when it happens.

This is quite possibly one of the greatest things I have ever read.

HBO has done a **** job of promoting the hw division and are only happy repping their guys and Kellerman has always been a stooge.

Tyson is so much taller, has such a long reach and will keep Ortiz at bay all night. Ortiz has a punchers chance though, nothing more.
