I think there is more to this Monroe situation than that. I've heard HBO has options on Monroe. My assumption is thats why he's hemmed up right now more than anything. Judging by his promoter having a Showtime card last month that Monroe didn't appear on it seems likely thats the case.

But definitely agree with PBC in the game its cutting into what non-PBC fighters have options-wise, but there are still Showtime & FoxSports 1 shows that are open to all or most it seems.

And ultimately I'd bet it'll work out for Monroe cuz I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the recently brought to light situation with Lemeiux getting a HBO fight in his backyard next year for taking the GGG fight. If I was a betting man, & I am, I'd say Monroe is at least on the short list of opponents for that date if not the #1 guy on that short list. Or worse case maybe he gets a undercard fight with Rosado sometime in the first quarter of next year.

Monroe is a GGG hater. Got beat down and has been downplaying GGG ever since. They should just put him in with Lara so he can get sparked and never be heard from again.

Bull****, Undefeated has always been used to sell opponents. It was much harder for a fighter to get a title shot while undefeated in the past because they actually had to fight other ranked fighters to move up the rankings, where as today they can fight 25 nobodies to get there.

So tell me how Oscar was able to garner more ppvs per fight after his first loss.

Most of us were Floyd fans when he was a "small guy" in the sport so its not a surprise.
Those that do not like him didn't really start watching him until 24/7.

I loved young Floyd, with Groovey on his trunks.. Happy to fight and do it with respect and to do it well.

I have said many times his Team is afraid of Ward because they know he has the tools, coupled with the size and style, to beat GGG. I also have said many times that HBO protected him from Ward to protect their investment in GGG because they thought he'd lose as well.

No other fighter has done what GGG and his team have this year so I don't have an example to give. I am basing it on the things you have posted regarding GGG.

You have downplayed his words and actions to such a degree that its been shameful. Anyone that pointed out the hypocrisy of GGG you said did so only because he is white. You accuse anyone that criticizes GGG of "having an agenda".

You even accused me of voting for 300-350k PPV sales solely so I could criticize GGG because I knew it wouldn't sell that much (yet you voted 250-300k and lied about it).

You attacked me (and anyone) that used Glazer's 97k PPV sales total, despite me saying in the post that his numbers should be taken with a grain of salt and are not believable. Last week, I posted GGG was the MW champ in that thread, you then said I voted for Jacobs.
