I'm just demonstrating the fakeness of Lara calling out GG where he knows there is this promotional divide hanging between them. Lo and behold there is Jacobs, whom he also expressed interest in, as if the same excuse applies. Put simply, if these clowns can't even make Jacobs vs Lara (they're both free and available as we speak, and both are under Haymon's umbrella) how in neptune these clowns expect GG fight to be made?

Lara and Decubas are just bull****ting doe. They use Golovkin's name to promote their crappy fights.

Because promotional device is not the problem with Lara getting fights. It's people wanting to fight Lara. People were initially excited for the prospect of Lara vs GGG when Lara first called GGG out because GGG was supposed to be the fearless monsters willing to get in the ring with anyone. Two guys no one want to fight fighting each other? **** yeah! But the fearless monster feels more like a facade now.

I don't see how Jacobs not wanting to fight Lara (and the only reason why Jacobs vs Lara wouldn't happen) proves that Lara's GGG callout was fake. I fail to see the connection.

I'm lost with what you wrote here. There's no mention of the promotional divide I was speaking of as if it doesn't exist. (It only exists when it fits the agenda.) Instead, you blabbered about the fearless monster that has nothing to do with what was being pointed out. I didn't even mention anything about Jacobs ducking Lara. Lemme try again.

Lara called out GG (allegedly). Yes? GG is a HBO fighter. Yes?
Lara called out Quillin/Jacobs winner. Yes? They're both PBC/SHO/Haymon fighters. Yes? Which is the easier direction do you think Lara should go? And where is he now?

          • If Lara is serious about moving up, Jacob or Quillin would be the easiest fight(s) to make due to Haymon.

He's a good fighter, has a style to frustrate Jacobs. I'd like to see how he deals with the bigger guys first. But I think he is competitive with them.

              ????

You literally said "promotional divide" in the post I replied to. What are you going on about?

In the post I originally quoted, I basically interpreted you as saying " The fact that Lara isn't fighting Jacobs proves that his GGG callout was fake. It's an easy fight to make because there's no promotional divide/network alliance issues between them. Lara saw Jacobs KO Quillin and now he's dead scared of fighting Jacobs, let alone Golovkin."

I, on the other hand, am saying it's not an easy fight to make. Sharing the same manager doesn't automatically make a fight easy to make. The biggest obstacle in making fights is fighters wanting to fight each other. If Lara vs Jacobs doesn't happen, it would be because Jacobs doesn't want it, not because Lara doesn't want it as you implied.

GGG has the reputation of being willing to fight everyone. Jacobs does not. The easiest fight for Lara to make should be against guys who are willing to get in the ring with him. That's why there's been so much ruckus about GGG fighting Lara on the forum. GGG the fearless monster should theoretically be willing to get in the ring with Lara, but it seems that reputation has likely been exaggerated.

              • So there's no chance this fight happens, huh? Even though there will be no politics involved in this case, huh? No HBO to deal with, no K2, no Arum, etc.

Both are PBC/SHO/Haymon fighters. Both are available. Lara basically called out the winner of Quillin/Jacobs when he was promoting his Zaveck fight.

So what's the problem? Can we now conclude they are ducking each other? Which is based on Haymon fanboys' standard of how duckages are determined. This one even exceeds the standards by miles.

                  • Would be a good but, I'd lean tentatively toward Laga on points, but he would have to be 100% on form and focused.

It's a 60:40 fight in my book and an intriguing match up.

                    • Where in Neptune is Lara? Why is he not pursuing Jacobs?

He called out the Quillin/Jacobs winner when he was promoting his Zaveck fight, and now he's barely mentioning Jacobs. Anyone in the media please ask him about Jacobs?
