Why is this fight not even talked of getting made? Lara and Jacobs are both available and fit for an in-house card. Not to mention Lara called out the Quillin/Jacobs just recently.

That would be a great fight and a great way for Jacobs to show up Golovkin. Or a great way for Lara to put himself in position for Golovkin. Either way it would be a good thing.

Yeah if you assume Lara is seriously interested in giving up his title at 154 and moving to 160 and, in his debut at the weight, going after a guy with a belt who happens to be a very good fighter.

This fight is easy to make and I would submit to you that if it doesn't happen in the next 6-8 months and you don't hear Lara calling out Jacobs and pushing for the fight, we can safely assume the GGG talk from Lara was BS.

There's no excuse in not pushing for the Jacobs fight. He can call out GG all he wants using twitter knowing that it won't happen, anyways, due to network issues, but what about Jacobs? Why did he stop calling him out?

He probably forgot Jacobs/Quillin are Haymon/PBC fighters just like himself, which means he can't use the same network issues as excuses.

Murray, Lemieux, Stevens, Geale, etc. when he fought Rosado. He was still climbing the rankings.
