Ward and Froch fought the same comp, aside from Froch fighting Glenn Johnson and Bute and Ward fighting Bika and Green. Froch lost to a Keesler Ward already beat, so how did he "clean out the division" as you said? That doesn't even make sense. The only part we are in agreement is that Ward should of fought Bute.

And once again you show you don't know anything because it was Dirrell who didn't want it with Ward(Dr. Shaw-Hi doe), he was getting so much crap on this site for it, people were saying he had no heart. Not to mention Froch arguable lost to that same Dirrell,

Yeaa... I get that you don't like Ward but he's not really the point of this thread. This thread is about a potential fight between Kovalev and Froch.

He was being sarcastic when he said he'd come out. He's enjoying home life too much, he won't fight again

Of course Froch has a chance to beat Ward in a rematch. Ward beat him clearly but that was many years ago. Since then Ward stopped fighting top competition while Froch continued to win over very good fighters. Ward doesn't own Froch because he beat him once along time ago. That was then and this is now. Ward has done nothing in three years to prove he can fight as good as he once could while Froch seems better than ever.

Froch is 38, retired and the last time he beat a top fighter (Kessler - a Ward leftover btw) was 2 and a half years ago

I could see Kovalev coming down to 172, but Froch has to want it first. It's crazy to me that this fight is never mentioned by Froch, but especially by the fans. I see so many fans on this forum saying Canelo, GGG, and Ward need to move up, but nobody ever says it about Froch.

I doubt Kovalev could, or would agree to, make 172. Various comments from his camp indicate he's pretty tight at 175.

If Froch cant make 168, and wants to fight again, then 175 is the next division and there's both Stevenson or Kovalev for a PPV fight.

Ward at 172 is the only other feasible fight imo but I don't think Froch really wants that one either.
