froch crapped all over teh ward rematch becaues it was a fight he'd only win via horrible robbery. he remembers the humiliation of getting his butt kicked by a left handed fighter with a broken left hand.

he doesn;t want to do this ever again:


he was pretty candid early on about not wanting the fight. i thin kward being so inactive gave him some courage to start talking a bit of crap again, which is his style. ward came back, was ordered as a mandatory for the WBA belt, and froch was all, "f#ck this, i'm retiring!"

i saw froch vs taylor live. best fight i've seen live. i am a fan. i'm also realistic about how he was moved late in his career. it's futile for somebody who isn't me to try and convince me which fighters i like


when people bring up ward's involvement with joe goossen after the SS i'm quite realistic as well. ward messed up a good thing, and is in part responsible for his periods of inactivity. goossen got him good money, and secured a fight in oakland twice in the SS, and a final on american soil in a neutral venue. you've also got to account for kelly pavlik losing his mind, and two legitimate injuries [three if you count the most recent knee swelling,] one of which required surgery.
