    Correct.

Ward is a bad fight for Froch, and I think Froch knows it which is why he has never really pursued it.

Froch had a fantastic career and is now retired. He should rest on his laurels and stay that way, if that's what he wants to do.

However, if it is, then he should also stop trying to stay relevant by continually commenting on potential Degale and Golovkin fights.

there's less than a handful of fighters who's resume is 100% acceptable in my eyes...meaning those fighters fought EVERYONE they needed to fight at the time they needed to....Froch is on that short list....he doesn't have to fight again, let alone move up....Froch is in a good place as far as his legacy is concerned.....that said, IF and I mean IF Froch was to take the Krusher fight, I see Froch getting beat up....I've never really bet against Froch, even picked him to beat my man Ward back then....Krusher is not for play...old heads and retired fighters don't need that pain in their lives lol.....let Ward deal with the Monster....if Ward can't beat him....NOBODY from 168-175 can

froch's warrior mentality is ridiculously overrated. the guy was in wars because he got hit flush on the chin with power punches by jermain taylor, george groves, and mikkel kessler.

the guy fought the way he did because he had no other choices. his talents were going to lead to him getting punched in the face and needing to win on heart when he went against better athletes [which most world class boxers are.]

his "fight everybody" mentality is also grossly overstated. he was candid about not wanting to rematch andre ward. he's on the record in interviews saying that he'd rather fight bute in a rematch, hopkins at 175, etc, over ward. the WBA ordered the rematch when ward came back, and froch retired.

the crew that pressure ward to move up to fight kovalev [which he appears to be doing, according to HBO concerning the contract both fighters have signed / agreed do,] would never pressure froch to do the same. ward's a good fight for kovalev. froch would be horribly mismatched against a bigger, harder punching guy.

        Tl, DR:

froich won't fight kovalev because he doens't need the money, or a beating to send him into "real retirement."

Froch would get annilated by Kovalev. That tough guy **** won't work when you're getting your brains rattled. Leave kovalev to Froch's daddy.

The thing that pissed me off about him was him talking **** about ward after getting his ass kicked and turning down a rematch calling him boring and not a risk taker etc.

He was trying to make it out like he was greater then him because he was more popular and made more money

I remeber him then taking shots at a retired Calazage and ward and Joe then turned around and were questioning Froch's mental wellbeing

"but he wanted to prove himself by rematching ward doe. froch is a warrior!"

froch crapped all over teh ward rematch becaues it was a fight he'd only win via horrible robbery. he remembers the humiliation of getting his butt kicked by a left handed fighter with a broken left hand.

he doesn;t want to do this ever again:

he was pretty candid early on about not wanting the fight. i thin kward being so inactive gave him some courage to start talking a bit of crap again, which is his style. ward came back, was ordered as a mandatory for the WBA belt, and froch was all, "f#ck this, i'm retiring!"

Because fans don't think Froch is good enough to beat bigger guys. They hold Ward and Golovkin on higher standart.

Froch was completely exposed that night. Ward was toying with him and everything Ward did turned to gold. Froch was getting beat up on the inside, outboxed from a distance and was getting roughed up and pushed around after saying that ward was soft and weak at the press conferance
