i'll be shocked if he isn't on something. not going to complain abou tit, however. wladimir didn't strike me as squeaky clean, either. dude promotes himself .
I believe every top boxer is on PEDs so it wouldn't surprise me if Fury was on them as well.

Saying that, I dispute your assertion that his physique has changed completely in the last few years. He's simply leaned down and not come into fights looking lick a sack of pudding, that's all.

Fury has a very old school physique, solid slabs of muscle masked by layers of fat and hair. He's already proved he's an extremely physically strong man in his training videos and his brother Shane is also reputedly very strong. That sort of strength is generally something you're born with, not a result of PEDs.

It doesn't matter where I'm from. I support boxers from all over the world. Plus I truly appreciate British boxing. I have always enjoyed there fighters enthusiasm for the sport. I am from California. Fury being Irish or from the United Kingdom does not come into my judgement.

Fury won but all I'm saying is that was one bad uninspiring fight. Fury only landed 80 something punches over 12 rounds. Is that a good inspiring performance by a fighter taking over for a champion who was arguablely one of the most boring? Fury had a sitting duck for the taking and choose the easy way out.

Fury talked about shocking the world like Ali did to Liston, lol. Did that performance remind you of that.

I'm glad Wlads reign is over, but I was hoping for someone to take over in a dominating exciting fashion so we can get some excitement back into heavyweight boxing. No hate for fury by me, I'm just stating how I felt about his performance.

Your claim that "all Fury had to do was be a bit just a tad bit busier to win the fight" totally disrespects what was a masterful performance he put on. By just keeping Wlad guessing and not giving him any opportunities to get settled he prevented the champion from executing any kind of offence at all.

Boxing is so much more than just throwing punches and landing them. There's a huge mental aspect as well, and Fury is proving to be a master at it.
Yea but fury didn't capitalize on making wlad second guess about throwing. He had wlad ****ed mentally. But damn at least make him pay. I love when a dude can mind **** someone in the ring, it's just at least make the dude pay. Fury landed 80 something punches all fight. That's horible considering you had a mentally ****ed fighter in there. I guarantee if he just would have pressed more while using his feints he could have caught Wlad. After all these years with a safe first type heavyweight champ the last thing we need is another.

All I'm saying is go for it more and take risks.

Why take risks if you're easily winning the fight?

Undefeated Pascal, undefeated Dirrell, undefeated Bute, undefeated Abraham, undefeated Groves. Kessler, Johnson, some other former champions in his coming up.

Wards resume is thin compared to Froch's, although he did beat Froch.

and who did he lose to?

I think he just wanted to secure the win and minimise any chances for error. Remember, this was his first major fight on a world stage and I'm sure he couldn't believe his luck when his tactics began to pay off as well as they did. My gut feeling is that he just didn't want to jeopardise it all by overcommitting and finding himself on the canvas from Wlad's return fire. A bit boring perhaps, but sometimes you've just gotta do what you gotta do.

Now that he knows how easily he can beat Wlad I'm sure he'd be much more willing to take risks in a rematch and secure the stoppage. This fight will have raised his confidence to sky high levels.

Because that's what great fighters do. They put an exclamation point on a victory. You younger generation of fans have no standards and just feel privileged watching a fight like these guys are gods.

Because it's called closing the show. He took the mayweather route to victory. Great.

So far it seems like most like him because he's a breath of fresh air after the 10 year hold by Klitschko others seem to be UK homers.

Personally I don't like him. He's too big and uncoordinated for the style he tries to use. Looks like he has two left feet. Modern day primo carnera. The first guy he fights with good power and activity will ko this guy.
