My gut feeling is that he just didn't want to jeopardise it all by overcommitting and finding himself on the canvas from Wlad's return fire. A bit boring perhaps, but sometimes you've just gotta do what you gotta do.
Now that he knows how easily he can beat Wlad I'm sure he'd be much more willing to take risks in a rematch and secure the stoppage. This fight will have raised his confidence to sky high levels.

It's just he had a sitting duck there for him to pluck and he couldn't come through in that way.
Look y'all im glad fury won because I want the old guard to move on. It's just i want to new guard to take over in a big way.
When a fighters lands 80 punches in a 12 round championship fight and win you can't be to happy about the performance.

He didn't need to do anything more.
I'm happy when someone can fullfil his dream but I just feel he could have done so much more. His career coukd have taken such a bigger leap had he pushed more instead of settling for what he did.

Fury clearly won the fight but this fight in general was boring (this coming from a Mayweather fan). Fury more danced his way to a victory With Klitschko conceding rounds by not throwing. Some will argue that fury's movement was the reason for Klitschko's inept offensive showing and I'll take that but waldimir has never been an offensive wrecking ball in any sense ... Jab jab jab... Mini hook...Jab... Jab... Thunderous right. That's it. The jab wasn't there (because fury took it away) and Klitschko looked lost... Ugly fight. Let's see how fury deals with a big puncher who's active then I'll be convinced.

Aren't you part of a group of fans who are satisfied with KOing bums?
Stop crying.
