  • Fury "fans" crawling out of the woodwork

Where were you all during the build up? The Master thread got very lonely for us true Fury fans at times.

"Wladimir gonna knock Fury out with the first right hand he lands doe"

    It's always the case.

I saw so many fake fans on twitter yesterday. They all suspected Fury might win suddenly

Same on here. Pathetic. At least admit you were wrong if you picked Wlad to flatten Fury.

There's no shame in people becoming fans of a fighter after a fight, but the trouble is they want to make it seem as if they knew the Fury would win all along when they said nothing during the buildup or outright ridiculed his chances same as everyone else. It's no skin off my nose though. Anyone who's followed the Fury vs Klitschko masterthread will know who the real supporters were since there were so few of us and we were so passionately vocal. We were also the only ones who could truly see Fury's quality, his strengths and weaknesses, and genuine class beneath all the bluster and bravado. That's something which the fairweather fans will struggle to perceive, though it's always nice when there's a genuine Eureka moment in a fan's mind regarding a fighter. I'm seeing quite a few of those in the aftermath as well.

He's an entertaining albeit politically incorrect guy in a marquee division that has just won a big fight so understandable

However, if he continues to stink the house out with his performances, the lustre will fade

His namesake, he is not and no amount of trash talk will change that

Stink the place out? Don't be silly. He was fighting Wladimir Klitschko, how many Wlad fights are entertaining? Oh and please don't say Pulev, that stiff bum just stood straight in front of Wlad and waited to get knocked out.

Did you miss the Abell fight when Fury was dropping his hands & giving him free shots? I also enjoyed watching Fury put on a boxing masterclass against Chisora II & Hammer.

Some people will say Fury is doing what Wlad did for 10 years, but it's not true.

Fury doesn't lean all over his opponents every 5 seconds and doesn't fight the exact same fight time after time.
