I don't understand the reluctance on the part of GGG's team to make this fight. I also cant understand how his fans can attempt to defend his team's reluctance to make the fight - past or present - if according to them he would simply cut off the ring and destroy Lara - ala a better Angulo???

Did you see the Zaveck fight? Lara can fight very offensively if he chooses to, I just don't think he'll take those sort of risks against GGG so he may well end up fighting in a more negative style for that fight but the guy is pretty versatile when he wants to be.

Fight offensively? He fought like he alwaays did, just Zaveck went down after a couple straight lefts, That guy was a 40 year old shot welterweight that gets invited to make PBC fighters look good. He folded within 5 rounds against frigging Berto.

Anyway i dont mind seeing how GGG destroys the guy. But i dont see you guys on social media or wherever asking for that fight. Theres literally zero hype for it.

Actually Lara and GGG know eachother very well.
They both competed in countless amateur fights, but in different weight divisions. Lara in -69kg for Cuba, GGG in -75kg for Kazakhstan. They know eachother very well. Just saying.

That doesn't really take away from the quality of the fight. In one corner you've got the stalker, an Eastern European predator who gets to his prey before 12 rounds are up. In the other, a slick Cuban who's been schooled well and has the skills. Last time Golovkin went the distance was 7 years ago in an 8 round fight, Murray nearly took him the distance doe.
