to think that Golden Boy is looking out for Rigo has got to be one of the ******est things I ever heard.

First off, Rigo is with Roc Nation, and Roc Nation was the lead promoter, not GB.

Secondly, GB couldnt care less what happens to Rigo

and thirdly, people like to claim that Arum and HBO HATE Rigo for beating Donaire, and "ruining their investment" and blah blah blah. If thats accurate, and HBO suits lay awake at night thinking of ways to get payback from Rigo, then why would GB/Ring do Rigo any favors?

so youd take espn, box rec and ring mag rankings over the wba wbc wbo and ibf whom you know are the ones that sanction the fights and determine world champion title fights? gotcha

lets take away unification, and undisputed while were at, koavlev vs pascal for the ring mag, espn and box rec lhw championship of the world, nice ring to it.

What I'm saying is anyone questioning why Pascal is top 5 ranked by Ring is an idiot because he's top ranked by EVERYONE. WBA, WBC ratings are flawed because they have too many loop holes that keep fighters off their own ratings. 3rd party aint getting no sanction fees or paid off to boost a fighter up the ratings when he hasn't done anything. There is no controversy with Pascal being a top 5 ranked fighter every 3rd party has him ranked that high. And if not him please tell me the list of fighters that deserve to be ahead of him? Seriously dudes are grasping at straws making no sense. GB could care less about Rigo and HBO has proven for years and as recent as last weekend that they hate Rigo. Why would either entity be protecting Rigo? lol

Stevenson isn't fooling anyone and he obviously isn't fooling Ring Magazine. Although I do believe much recognition should be given for the Fonfara defence. Stevenson's team have done all they can to avoid Kovalev. The 'purse bid' was BS, and obviously always going to wind up in favour of Haymon and Showtime. I hope Stevenson retires after 2016 so Kovalev can kick Ward's butt and get the WBC belt he deserves.

cleverly - legit win

stevenson - competitive UD loss

johnson - good ko win
campillo - good ko win
page jr - ok ko win

enriquez - basic ko win

if you look at all their last 5 wins, beterbiev and fonfara make cases by beating former title challengers in the same division they are fighting in and have no suspect fights. pascal only good win in his last 5 has come from bute and getting a nod vs gonzalez in a fight not many ppl thought he won, he had a no contest, beat a regular opponent and was KOd by kovalev in a lopsided win, i dont think he deserves a top 5 ranking. just bc espn box rec and whoever else makes their own list for fun along with ring mag and you expect me not to challenge much like youre challenging the body sanction, not fair. we can criticize them all equally, but the belt sanctions establish champions, not others. and if these two have better positions in ALL the sanctions pascal is in or the MAJORITY then they deserve to ranked UNIVERSALLY ahead of him.

exactly. Did people forget Arum saying when he mentions Rigo's name to HBO they throw up? But now there's a big conspiracy between HBO and Golden Boy to keep Rigo ranked at Ring??? man I read the silliest sh@t on here sometimes........
