Let's look at the top 5 rankings from THIS website.

#1 - Sergey Kovalev
#2 - Bernard Hopkins
#3 - Jean Pascal
#4 - Andrzej Fonfara
#5 - Juergen Braehmer

THIS YEAR, Stevenson agreed to fight #1 Kovalev, his WBC mandatory. Kovalev refused to fight him and relinquished his mandatory position.

#2 Hopkins is moving to Super Middleweight.

THIS YEAR, #3 Pascal was offered the chance to be Stevenson's mandatory and refused.

LAST YEAR, #4 Fonfara lost to Stevenson.

#5 Braehmer is not the real WBA champion and appears to have no interest in fighting for the real WBA title, let alone a unification with Stevenson.

So who is Stevenson ducking here exactly? He fought and beat #4 just last year and agreed to fight #1 this year, only for #1 to back out.

Dude you're defending thin air from your ass! Fonfara was not top 5 last yr when stevenson defeated him. He got up to top ten only this year when everybody got demoted down...And the ring did everything by their rankings and system, they're one the most respected rankings out there, so comparing a boxing website to them is pretty useless...Yeah Stevensons going to talk alot and bark alot when he knows the fight isnt possible now that...but that wasn't the case when everyone was under HBO...they can fool u but not us bro

The ratings on this website are far more credible than The Ring since The Ring is OWNED BY A PROMOTER and this site isn't.

The IBO rankings, which are computerized and remove all human bias, have Fonfara at #1 (Pascal is #6).

Transnational Boxing Rankings have Fonfara ranked #2, ahead of Pascal.

Dunno why you keep bringing up Fonfara. When he fought Adonis he wasn't top 5, one fight prior he was getting schooled severely by a shot Campillo on Espn, before he ran out of gas

Well since it's about the Light Heavyweight division I think it's appropriate to talk about this.
Top Rank have to step up Mekhontsev and Gvozdyk. I think they should try to get that title away from Braehmer. I think Gvozdyk beats that dude next year. He's ready for a step up! Come on Top Rank!!
