    I second that!

The belts/tiles do matter. Unification does matter. Cotto may be lineal but he is no champion if he ducks the best, and that is GGG. Spin it any way you want, but unification and possession of title does matter.

Golovkin wants to unify and break Hopkins' record. Unification means that everyone at MW and coming up from JMW will have to eventually go through him. If he sees bigger opportunities up at SMW he will move up. But judging by his recent weights as he's approached weigh-in, he seems pretty comfy at MW. That's a big problem for a lot of guys under 160. And that's why the critics are so desperate for the Ward fight. They basically want to see GGG up against another A level guy who'll outweigh him by 10-15lbs on fight night. Pathetic.

When you look at Lil G resume his best win is Martin Murray a solid fighter but no where near the level that Taylor faced in his time. Lil G will never be great if he refuses to take risks and fight guys like Ward or Lara as far as i'm concern he's nothing but hype until he adds either Ward, Lara, Canelo name in there.

              Stop your excuses willya.

Golovkin wanted to fight " anyone from 154-168 " except Ward
