Team Hypekin are now only interested in 160, because there are no world-class fighters there.
They used to fight in 154-168, but Ward punked them away from 168, and Cotto/Canelo punked them away from 154.
They are going to tip-toe through the tulips until they break Hopkins record, because the casual fans will run with that til they drop dead from exhaustion.
Team Hype-train, leaving the station.
Great news for Willie Monroe, he likely gets his rematch.Comment

Golovkin will never get close to Cotto all time.
He avoided from Ward/Lara/Cotto/Canelo, despite them being his best win.
How can you become great if you are unwilling to fight world-class opponents?Comment

Well, GGG sure made Cotto his B I T C H by making him pay that 'Don't hurt me just yet' money. Easiest $800K to be made in boxing right there. That was some pimp action, so take note.Comment

Fact is, Jermain Taylor unified the Middleweight titles but isn't consider an all time great. That being said I would still rank him ahead of Lil G if he where to accomplish the same feat for the simple fact that he faced the best in Hopkins, Pavlik, Froch and even Abraham. When you look at Lil G resume his best win is Martin Murray a solid fighter but no where near the level that Taylor faced in his time. Lil G will never be great if he refuses to take risks and fight guys like Ward or Lara as far as i'm concern he's nothing but hype until he adds either Ward, Lara, Canelo name in there.Comment

Even if Golovkin unifies all of the titles, he still won't be THE middleweight champion. Cotto is still THE lineal middleweight champion. Hence, that theory isn't accurate. The best in the middleweight division until he either leaves the division, loses, or retires is Miguel Cotto.Comment

I have a few problems with your list
First you didn't say whether you think Froch is high risk or not
We are clear that he is indeed high risk right?
Second what exactly do you mean when you say reward?
Financial reward or the reward of victory?
I'm assuming financial reward as you are uncertain what type of reward comes with Andre Ward.
Because if you're talking the reward of victory a win over Ward (for legacy's sake) is 10 times greater than all the others combined!
And I'm talking financial reward. Ward is uncertain because it's such a risky fight with a slim chance of GGG winning. If he does the unthinkable he could now market himself as the best fighter on the planet. But that is highly unlikely.Comment

If Canelo refuses then Lara or Lee are good fights that can be made. Lara - just to see the resident yahoos on NSB to change their tune. Lee (if he wins vs BJS) - for the belt.Comment
