I was actually disappointed I Cotto until idea this ridiculous number. $1.1 milli??? **** outta here with that, WBC!

He'd be a fool to pay that, BUT he should have dropped the belt right after the Martinez fight instead of masquerading as a middleweight.

All this makes it very remote that we see Him face Golovkin surprised many who until this week was negotiating with Roc Nation Sports a " fee " of $ 800 thousand to leave the way clear for Cotto...Golovkin was left with no choice but to await the outcome of Saturday without money involved . GGG had no signed contract.

I would be surprised if Roc Nation didnt pay that fee eventually. if it indeed hasnt been paid.

This isnt some established company that can afford to be burning bridges.

Pinto and Foreman were every bit as good as Kassim Ouma, Daniel Geale and David Lemieux. Maybe if GGG's fans demanded anything from him, he'd step up in weight and find some real fights like other great fighters have done. Or he can keep chasing an undisputed middleweight championship that means as little as it did when Hopkins had it for the same reason...the division is weak. Ward's gone now, he shouldn't be that scared.

The week was merely starting, Roc Nation is not obligated if nothing was agreed to, they can claim negotiations fell through!

But the diva wanted to pretend he is middle weight champ of the world when he never wanted to defend that belt against GGG and is NEVER going to fight GGG. Could of vacated a long time ago and not embarrassed himself or boxing. If he did that he could fight whoever he wanted at any catchweight not worried about fans bashing him, GGG questions, or any sanction issues. Instead he held the belt hostage and it finally came to this. Cotto made himself look like a h0e.
Ask yourself, can you imagine a fighter talking like that ?

                    Or a trainer ?

                    Or any boxing insider ?

Most people will jump to the conclusion that you are a casual fan who has never laced em up in his life.

I totally refuse to read past the bold.

                      Cotto is a p***!!!!

Cotto doesn't want to pay because now that his is not the champ and can't win the belt, he doesnt have to fight GGG. That the reason he doesn't want to pay, now he can blame the GGG fight not happening on the WBC. What a f****** puss lol.
