No, being the guy who literally is scaring the **** out of these guys so bad they are pissing their pants, and handing over belts is gonna do that.

My dad the other day says he heard in his barber shop this ggg is so bad that no one wants to fight him.

My dad cuts the hear of 60 year old war vets.

      This **** is getting funny.

This was an agreed upon thing by Cotto, and it is such a ***** move.

          No wonder this guy sucks.

There goes talks of a trilogy. What a ***** move.

          War Cotto my ass.

No wonder why Cotto wears pink gloves, he is a *****.

Its been reported he has, and I don't think they would be letting Canelo get a shot at it unless it was.

Not for long, they will strip him too. De La Hoya runs that **** afterall.
          Agreed, war Cotto my ass!

This guy forced every demand on Canelo and the only reason the fight happened is all because Canelo agreed everything that this coward put on the table, he drained Geale and then claimed he wasn't a middleweight after it.

No fuqqing idea how anyone could support such a pathetic overrated individual

Cotto is on the last leg of his career, he don't got time for this ****ery. already a HoF worthy resume and one of the greatest boxers out of PR.
You didnt even both to read it did you.

They want the normal sanctioning fee

the rest was part of the step aside agreement cotto agreed to pay so he could fight Canelo instead of GGG.

You have to read things first.

who is going to pay GGG? cotto was going to pay that money to have his belt on the line vs canelo and not being stripped , well he has been stripped now, so if there was a contract, its void now, according to cotto "saturday night he will get back home with 1.1m more instead of a title"...

Cotto did this to himeself. He should of vacated a long time ago and saved himself some dignity. He was NEVER going to fight GGG. win lose or draw the fight is never going to happen so that's why he is refusing to pay. But I feel no sympathy because he looks foolish keeping that belt hostage all this time. Could of vacated a long time ago and fought whoever he wanted at whatever catch weight and fans wouldn't care. But instead he held on but refused to fight his mandatory until it got to this point. He didn't need the belt to fight canelo. Canelo been trying to fight him for years long before he had that belt. But it's pathetic how he held the belt hostage when anyone with a brain could see he was and is never going to fight GGG.

800,000 was promised to GGG as step aside money (as he was the official mandatory)

                  300,000 for sanctioning fees.

Dont let Cotto fool you, these fees were not a shock to him. He knew they needed to be paid, he agreed to pay GGG to step aside, kept the belt long enough to negotiate a great deal with Canelo and then was finally stripped. I doubt he ever intended to pay the money he promised.

WBC look like naive dumbasses, Cotto an evil genius.

But hey, its only boxings credibility right? Who gives a **** about that.

Well I'm very sure with a settlement being set that doing it in the very last minute could definitely see legal action being took against Cotto.
You can't really even call Cotto a man the best thing that can happen is that this weekend Canelo knocks him unconscious and puts him into hospital that would be karma at its best.

It's possible that Canelo and/or Oscar agreed to pay a share of GGG's step aside money so they could fight Cotto instead of him.

Canelo may not be too interested in the MW belt, but he really wanted Cotto, and if GGG hadn't stepped aside, this fight wouldn't be happening.
