How is the belt at stake for Canelo? Hes not the mandatory..... I'll tell you why, its because hes paying a fee to the WBC, so they will gladly take his money, offer the belt up for him, if he wins, great, because he brings in more money than GGG.

    The whole thing is BS.
    It's funny really

FACT: the ONLY guy who can win the WBC Middleweight Title, said this.....

" I have absolutely no interest in middleweight "

Maybe not obligated, but Roc Nation would be dumb not to do it imo. They are a fledgling company with deep pockets. Who knows when they might need K2 in the future

800k isnt that much, especially bearing in mind they have already profited from GGG stepping aside.

Haha he used the belt to negotiate with then when he got favorable terms he dumped the belt.

Cotto ain't out the woods yet. Ot at least his promoter. Some judges enforce verbal or "good faith" agreements. If one promoter,, Roc, said verbally they would pay step aside money..that is actionable. Expect lawsuits.

I have a hard time believing that Loeffler and k2's attorneys would be that ****** to not have a deal in place.
