People are going to b*tch about this, but I agree with Oscar this fight needs to build. As a GGG fan, I'd rather see Canelo establish himself at MW like Tito did prior to Hopkins. Tito running through Vargas, Reid, then Joppy created momentum to the point Bernard was an underdog. If Golovkin beats Alvarez now, he won't receive alot of credit like what happened with Lemeiux.

Canelo vs GGG doesn't need to be marinated...it doesn't need 18 months of promotion..since Canelo is the face of boxing according to Oscar anyone he fights fans will tune in to watch..when Cotto Canelo Pac Floyd fight casual/hardcore fans will tune in don't matter da opponent. .ppl need to stop with trying to make every fight on Pac/Floyd ppv level...Cotto-Canelo vs GGG don't need 18 months. .fight should happen by September next yr..other fights like Kovalev vs Ward. .Ward vs GGG Ward vs Stevenson vs Kovalev. . I ANSWERED the ORIGINAL question CORRECTLY and with FACTS!!! And the WBC WON'T take the title from Cotto/Canelo if the 1st fight is good and makes some $$$. Their OWN rules allow and immediate rematch. If they do an immediate rematch I'll bet ANYONE on this site that the WBC won't take the belt and give it to GGG.

I hope Cotto/Canelo does their rematch PPV fight the same day GGG fights Lee...Anyone think GGG's ppl are ****** enough to put that on PPV???

For one, I didn't ask a question originally, it was just a statement and my opinion and you quoted the post and started ranting about GGG, nothing to do with my post which said if the winner avoids GGG they are obviously running scared and you replied with... but GGG said this and said that about Ward and you even threw Mayweather and Pacquiaos names in there, get a life.

If the WBC made GGG the mandatory and even said the winner must face him next then they will face him next or give up the belt, especially if this is all in a contract, you don't come off as the brightest guy around here but even you must know they can be sued if they go back on their word and GGG wants that belt so I doubt he'd just lay down and let that happen.
