He's playing the name game to generate interest for Lara's upcoming fight...at 154lbs...on PBC...in Florida.

If Lara really wanted the fight, he would've already moved up and fought Danny Jacobs, got the WBA belt and forced GGG to fight off HBO or vacate.
He wasn't done anything besides talk and look unimpressive in the ring.

Lara is much better off at middleweight. Pursue Canelo and Golovkin. No one moving up from 147 is going to risk fighting him anyway.
