Lara is supposed to be preparing for an eventual showdown with Golovkin. Forget about Jacobs, Quillin, Lee. Who are we kidding? He's a Haymon fighter. Fans expect him to take a Malignaggi equivalent in his middleweight debut.

Serious question, has anyone seen or heard from Lara recently? (not his twitter account ran by his manager). There was a poster a month or so ago who made a thread saying he talked to his cousin saying Lara is having personal family issues and will be away for a while. I haven't heard from this guy in a couple months at least. Everything is regarding his twitter account (his manager).

That's the problem. There's no coordination in the Lara camp. Decubas doesn't have any problem calling out and fighting Golovkin on HBO using Lara's twitter account. Even says things like he can fight him in Kazakhstan. That he will be moving up and calls out the Jacobs/Quillin and Saunder/Lee winners. Then the next day Lara's trainer says he's not ready to move up.
