Different boxers will be champions and get the money - it will even out over a couple of years.

I don't want to see fights in same weight class where boxer 15/20 lbs less than another guy with similar skill loses just because of size - unless the smaller guy goes into a fight at a different weight class - he wins that and you know he is great.

I think more weigh ins are good. It means fighters have to be more consistently at the weight. As I said I'd go further and make it random.

One Weigh in on the day is bad for the health of boxers.
Yes, I stated that opinion in an earlier post.

I don't have a problem with random weigh ins, just so long as the fighters are losing the weight the proper way by actually training and conditioning themselves into getting in their best shape possible. Then I agree, it's a good thing.

No. It is a great ideal to have. Achieving it is the complicated part.

No, I admit I was wrong. The reason why I said that because the WBC already has enough random weigh ins as it is. They should just keep the current system in place along with the implementation of the new 48 to 72 hour weigh in and abandon the fight night weigh in altogether. One additional weigh in wont hurt prior to fight night but that weigh in on fight night to rehydrate up to only 10lb would actually be a bad idea.

Ah ok cool. I'd green k you for being one of the rare breed to admit if they are wrong here.

maybe fighters should be weighed directly after the fight at the same time that they take their final drug test and if they exceed a certain weight, say >10% over the limit, then they face the same ramifications as if they'd failed a drug test, i.e. a ban and/or a fine and the result being reversed to a NC? this could be an actual preventative measure and wouldn't be possible to circumvent with extra draining
