Cotto Vs Tony was another PPV fight it was a big scale fight there is no way he could have got away with that like he didn't get away with it against Shane Mosley.
Who said it was Tony that did it to his gloves?
I trust the testing procedures that likely happen before a fight is even started and I'm sure IF his gloves were loaded Cotto would have quit long before he did and he quit through exhaustion, quit being the key word.

IMDAZED was correct.... you guys are just straight laughable.
im not sure that someone who cannot even differentiate the negotiating leverage between Froch/Chavez and Andre Ward should be criticizing anyone else's reasoning abilities.......

      • Well, this is no surprise, really. We knew twinkle toes Miguel wouldn't fight Golovkin. Not to worry, Cotto won't be in the equation anyway, as Canelo will beat him severely about the head and face. If Canelo won't fight GGG except for @ a catch weight, his Mexican machismo will take a big hit. What will the Golovkin haters say if/when neither Canelo nor Cotto fights him @ full MW? NOW who's ducking whom, bitches?

but its just excuses doe right?
That's how they are man. Their love for Cotto has no limit.

Lol! Cotto and Canelo fans have made every excuse in the Book.

Even De La Hoya says GGG versus Canelo is big time fight.

But he is gonna vacate the title because he is scared.

Canelo really wants to fight GGG, about as bad as Ward did. Eventually!

If GGG 150,000+ plus is bad, damn, Cotto first 60,000 was horrible then.

The numbers for Mosley are not accurate if I remember right. Also, don't forget Jennings which did 100-150. For a so called 'star' coming off his biggest fight doing 100-150k.

              • Why are you all paying any attention to these Cotto fa gs? After all Nov 21st Cotto will be history. The only way he will be remembered is as a glorified journeyman and as a guy who lost all his big fights (May, Pac, and now Canelo, if not for Sergio being crippled him too)

To be fair, look at how badly Cotto's face was busted up at the end. Given that Margarito later got caught cheating and Cotto later suggested that he believed he was cheated on, can you really put it past him ever? He got caught before his fight with Mosely because ****m has a sharp eye. They tried to pull it off, thinking he wouldn't notice. They were wrong.

Wasn't Jennings Cotto's first fight after Margarito I?

I got the list from Bad Left Hook.

Jones Jr. Had some low ones too.

It's just shows crossing over to PPV is hard to do.

Cotto and Canelo may as well vacate, neither are gonna defend the MW title at MW.

Canelo is more pathetic because he Rehydrates to 172-175

Canelo probably gonna be one of those champs who vacate s belt rather than fight a Tough opponent.

That will forever taint his candy ass.
