at 147 He defeated Carlos Quintana (22-0-18kos), Zab Judah (34-4-25kos)(still in his prime), Shane Mosley (still in his prime, coming off 2 big wins against Fernando Vargas and Oscar De la Hoya). Lost to Margacheato (loaded gloves we all know) (almost got killed by the dirty mexican). Came back and defeated Joshua Clottey (very avoided fighter at 147 due to dirty tactic headbutts). Was weight drained to 155 pounds in order to fight "PED" Pacquiao at the time (WAS KTFO)..... the list goes on but just to give you an quick example.

What about GGG's best win??? Murray? Lemiuex??
Sorry dude. He's a glorified version of LSC

Compare that to Golovkin, who had no local (Kazakh) following, no big-name opponent who has had PPV exposure and had their event conflict with World Series and college football.

inb4 your 'excuses' statement. Logic is hard, I know.
whatever happened to that mexican style? you know lil' g sells out anywhere he goes... he's this HUGE draw blah blah blah....

all that for 97k buys and a HBO backed ppv.

      Common sense..... go get some.

but its just excuses doe right?
comparing old ppv numbers, discussing which one is a HBO backed ppv and the other was a closed circuit ppv....

what does this have to do with anything?

      those two are not comparable.

Can't really compare the PPVs either. anyone think that david Lemieux brought anything to the table for U.S. PPV audiences? naah; whereas Judah was, at that time, a well-known top figher who had had multiple fights on HBO or Showtime with a big ppv event vs Floyd.
Not sying GGG is a huge draw right now, but he is about the same as Cotto was when Cotto started fighting on PPV

not sure what this means - but if your saying Margarito didn't have loaded gloves - cmon. That has nothing to do with anything we're discussing here - BUT - you think Margarito just decided to use loaded gloves for the 1st time AFTER demolishing Cotto? LOL!

what is there to try again?

There's a difference between closed circuit & a HBO backed ppv.

Yet ya still reach and deny this

GGG did twice as much as Cotto did his first PPv

Actually, he is doing a little better. And Cotto Hispanic, GGG from Eastern Europe.

If GGG 150,000+ plus is bad, damn, Cotto first 60,000 was horrible then.

60k is terrible numbers for someone who is Puerto Rican, Cotto had all the advantages but I think people weren't bought into the hype like they are now and lets not shift it because its definitely hype...
When you mention fighters he fought you mention the surname to make them sound more impressive...
Did you know he beat Foreman, he must be ATG legend!!

Just to confirm, that's a "no" to logic, correct?
You get a solid C- for deflection though. Does that sound familiar? Probably right around what you got in school.
