What Fighters Would Have Never Been Champions?

I agree with those except Holyfield and Foreman. They were both legitimate heavyweight champions.Comment

It's pretty hard to picture Michael Moorer getting the title either. Of course, he didn't have much of a reign in the alphabet world anyway.Comment

Those guys, Holyfield, Moorer and Foreman were legitimate champions though. Tyson unified it, lost to Buster, who lost to Holyfield, who lost to Moorer (after losing to and regaining from Bowe), who lost to George. You can say that Lennox was the best of that era and I wouldn't disagree with you, but that was the lineal championship.Comment

what about the lineal Welterweight Champ Carlos Baldimor. The Floydturds act like beating Baldimor was like winning the phucken lotteryIf this whole time, boxing only had one world champion with eight weight classes, which fighters would be least likely to have ever become a champion?
Obviously this could be a huge list.
With the extra divisions gone, it really gets limiting.
I don't think Carlos Quintana would have ever been a champion. He only won the WBO version and made zero defenses.
I honestly don't think Sven Ottke would have ever won a title either, much less defended one.
Eddie Hopson would have never got a title either.
I think Trinidad would have been a champion for sure, but he wouldn't have gotten such an easy title win in a shot Maurice Blocker. Instead he might have had to face Ike Quartey which was a dream match up.
I don't see Michael Bentt becoming heavyweight champion either. Morrison probably wouldn't but I wouldn't count him out.
John Ruiz definitely would have never got there without multiple titles.Comment

Undefeated prime Michael Nunn in his first title fight? Reggi Johnson? Mike McCallum? Iran Barkley? Undefeated Vasily Jirov? I wouldn't say he lost everytime he fought the best, un his prime he lost to Roy Jones (who was almost unbeatable at the time) and a very close fight to Montell Griffin. I think Toney could've become a 160 champ if there were 8 divisions and 1 belt per division.Okay so we need to get working on a huge list then to do this lol
Carlos Cuenca
Pauli Malinaggi
Kell Brook
Jamie McDonnell
James Toney (say what you want but when he faced the best of his division he ALWAYS lost)
This list as you said it really could go on and on but those were just a random spurt of guys that came to mind.Comment

He was another one I meant to point out! So true. Got the win over Judah(who didn't?) and then a shot Gatti(another guy who wouldn't have been champion).Comment

That's true. You have to beat the men to be the man. Those guys, Holyfield, Moorer and Foreman were legitimate champions though. Tyson unified it, lost to Buster, who lost to Holyfield, who lost to Moorer (after losing to and regaining from Bowe), who lost to George.
