I'm suggesting the opponent is irrelevant and was always going to be someone ****. Brand, Agnew, Murdock....who really cares? It's a showcase for Ward and exposure.Last edited by BrometheusBob.; 10-29-2015, 04:06 PM.

U would conveniently start at the exact year mark that the Super 6 ended , but I guess that's the only way u can make GGG seem somewhat equal to Ward .

Ward has the nerve to trash GGG's opposition when GGG just fought a world champion middleweight. Ward is about to fight an unranked 168 pounder at Ward's new weight of 175. A boxer of Ward's experience, great, undefeated record and well proven skills should be fighting a top 10 world ranked light heavyweight. This is a cherry pick and Ward will win a very one sided fight.

If Hagler returned today to 160 , I'd have him as #1 P4P over little g in that division on balls alone , of which GGG seems to be missing oneLast edited by SugarRaRobinson; 10-29-2015, 04:18 PM.

If you believe by agreeing to be on this ppv he put himself in a position where he was going to have to take on someone of low quality (I disagree that he couldn't do better than Brand, but let's say I didn't) that still wouldn't change the fact that 1) he could have decided not to be on this PPV and that 2) this fight is doodoo.

Old man Hopkins- who took him the full 12, Agnew-who actually took Kovalev to round 7. How about Cleverly or Boone or Simakov, who also took him to 7? At least these guys actually fight @ LHW and have more name recognition than Ward's last & next opponent. Only Hopkins would be expensive.
Agnew isn't any better or worse than Brand from what I can see. So it's like....who cares? It's not as if people were going to be creaming had he chose Agnew.
