I cant apply the same for Khan as he was simply a contender at 140, so we're left with his win over Alexander. I personally dont put that much value on that win as Alexander was beaten pretty shortly before, pretty badly aswell. As for 'skill/talent' level, surely his either way fight with Algieri puts him pretty far out from the top 5? Algieri might be some beast at 147 but he hasnt shown that yet.
    wait huh?

Khan was a contender? The guy had two belts at 140 and beat Maidana, Judah, Paulie, Kotelnik and possibly beat Pederson. Most of those wins were dominant. His loss to Garcia was in a fun, 3 round fight. You can't possibly call Khan a contender...like how? I understand not liking someone for various reasons, I don't know what your reasons are, but let's be logical here.

And Khan beat a better version of Paulie and did so more convincingly than Garcia too, heck beating Alexander is better than beating Paulie. Your post is quite bizarre, definitely quote worthy lol

If Garcia was the champion, what was Khan? Pretty logical answer. Garcia being the outright man at 140 should give him a little credit when he moves up, but not a lot. With a win over shot Paulie, rank 9 seems fair

Khan beat Paulie at 140. The Alexander win ranks Khan higher at 147 obviously, like i've already said.

I'm not sure why youre so confused

A post earlier in the thread. I guess you skipped over this

His achievements at the weight are:

A very poor showing against Diaz
          Outclassed an ancient Collazo
          A whitewash against Alexander
          Either way fight with Algieri

The top guys at 147 currently:

          Pacquiao
          Bradley
          Brook
          Thurman
          Porter

(You can throw Garcia somewhere, given he was the 140 champion moving up)

          Your thoughts?
          I'd say -
          Pacquiao
          Bradley
          Khan
          Brook
          Porter
          Thurman

Khan outclassed Alexander, da phuck has Thurman done that is that good?

You originally said you thought Garcia had a shot at being top 5 and not khan. there's no confusion. You're just backtracking cos you realised you sounded ******.

And Garcia was not THE champ when Khan faced him, that was between Khan or Peterson. Again, you don't know what you're talking about.

I never said Garcia is top 5, ive pretty much said Khan ranks higher than him at 147 multiple times. Id rank Garcia around 9, Khan 6 or 7

I dont care who the champion was when Khan/Garcia went down, its barely relevant. For arguments sake though, it was the Garcia/Matthysse fight which established the universally recognised 140 championship.

Garcia was the 140 champion when he moved to welterweight, Khan was a contender when he did. Therefore its right to give Garcia far more credit for his 140lb achievements than Khan when ranking them at 147. Youve totally misunderstood (or misread) what I said.

You've gone back and forth so many times, you must be a yo-yo. But I'll let you off.

Can I ask why youd rank Khan over Brook? Kell beat the guy who also dismantled Alexander. TBRB ranked Khan like that at one point too, I dont understand the logic
