Is Khan a top 5 welterweight?

Where would you rank Amir Khan right now at 147?

His achievements at the weight are:

A very poor showing against Diaz
    Outclassed an ancient Collazo
    A whitewash against Alexander
    Either way fight with Algieri

The top guys at 147 currently:

    Pacquiao
    Bradley
    Brook
    Thurman
    Porter

(You can throw Garcia somewhere, given he was the 140 champion moving up)

    Your thoughts?

Obviously not. He refuses to fight any of the top welterweights unless it's a celebrity fight like Mayweather or Pacquaio.

          No.

I can imagine a scenario where Khan beats a Top 5 Welterweight fighter, but I can also imagine one where he loses to a guy barely in the Top 15 Welterweights.

Khan's by far the best 147 pounder in the game at the moment. He'll beat Floyd and Manny easy at this point, and I'm talking 9 - 3 virtual shut out. It's a done deal. In fact he could probably beat them both on the same night.

There's a reason Floyd, Manny, Marquez, Bradley, Broner and Brook ducked Khan like their life depended on it.

No...how can you be top 5 without even fighting anyone in the top 5?

Khan isn't the best 147 pounder.
