Remember all the Ward fight does is give GGG a credible, top tier opponent since the top MW's will not fight him and Floyd is retired. If he wasn't, he wasn't going to fight GGG.

How can becoming undisputed champ mean so much yet didn't mean jack when he was going to go to 168 for froch or chavez jr.

Can you see the dichotomy there?

Umm because they were looking to get paid in huge money fights that they were pretty confident they could win? Would be my guess anyways.

again.. stop this coward sht. ward is too big for your precious bundle of sht golovkin but chavez jr isn't ?? chavez would've jumped in the ring at least 195, that didn't stop golovkin from chasing him. were you trying to protect him from chavez as much as you're saving him from ward? i already know the answer to this, dont bother.

If he beats Lara, why would I not give him full credit?

You keep dancing around the issue-GGG has a weak resume and needs a signature win over a top tier fighter. Cotto and Canelo, 2 guys at MW are likely not going to fight him. As such, GGG has a choice to make.

          Lee @ 160, heiland or Johnson @ 160 or Ward @ 168?

its his choice. We know what the truly great fighters would do. Lets see what GGG does.

If Ward is a LHW and GGG is a MW, isn't 168 the appropriate CW for a potential Ward/GGG fight?
I'm being realistic while you arent. Again, Ward just signed a 3-fight deal with HBO and is on a collision course with Kovalev. GGG/Ward isnt realistic at the moment and no GGG cannot make HBO "make that fight".

Ward has Kovalev in his sights while GGG has the winner of Cotto/Canelo in his sights. Those are both great fights and everyone should be happy. If Cotto or Canelo choose to vacate rather than face GGG then I have no problem with GGG facing Lee or Lara.

If both are successful and Ward can make 168, I'd love to see that fight.

Chavez Jr. stopped KO'd Weak Andy Lee- amazing

Weak Irish Andy lee is a marginally talented soft Irish wimp who went out and was stopped by an out of shape Chavez jr. Now a Weak Lee vs little g title fight in Dublin would be a classic event if there are any arenas with electricity and seats in all of Dublin. The Irish never had anything to cheer about in all of history outside of a drinking contest and setting off bombs in Belfast directed at the Brit soldiers who sired most of current Ireland as the Irish men hid as the Brits took all the Irish sheep err lassies.

ok, so if money is the main priority, stop with fights that will earn less than Ward. Ward wouldn't be as lucrative as Chavez or Froch.

it surely would be more lucrative than Lemuiex, Lee, Johnson or Heiland while Cotto and canelo keep avoiding him.

SO money and a great opponent. What is the reason not to make this fight?

If Ward can make 168 (and I hope he can for the sake of a possible showdown with GGG), why is he fighting in the LHW divison?

He also doesn't have an opponent for the 1st fight. he could easily fight GGG at 168, then a LHW, then Kov. What is unrealistic about that.

Of course he can. He is the a -side, remember.

Again, deflection. Canelo nor Cotto has GGG in their sights despite what GGG has in his. HBO wants Kov to have ward in his sights rather than fight Adonis, the fight at LHW we all want.

Ward wants to fight both GGG and Kov, just GGG first.

So again its GGG's choice. Ward has no fight upcoming. GGG has been told 155 (by canelo) in 1-2 years (by ODH). SO its either meet LHW ward in the middle at 168 or something else.

But in another thread you stated that HBO approved of Murdock so that both Ward and Kovalev can have easy competition until they face one another.

                      Which is it?
