The point is we all want to see GGG fight. The difference is you just want to see him win, I want to see if he can win.
So, lets say he went up and beat Ward. Then what? You still going to cry about him fighting huge underdogs? Because if he actually beat Ward, he would be like a 25 to 1 favorite against anyone at 160-168. Maybe go to 175 after that, hmm?
Anyways I would love to see the Ward fight, but in the scheme of things becoming undisputed champion ****s all over a Ward fight, even if he managed to win.

One thing I can say about Andy Lee is that he is one resilient and tough S.O.B. He won't just lay down for GGG like some of his other opponents has done in the past. He will come to fight and win.

Lara will be a huge underdog as well. GGG literally has one fight, Ward, where he would'nt be the favorite and I'm guessing betting wise he will be pretty close to even money, maybe a slight underdog. Hell he would be a huge favorite against any SMW not named Ward, right now.

Remember all the Ward fight does is give GGG a credible, top tier opponent since the top MW's will not fight him and Floyd is retired. If he wasn't, he wasn't going to fight GGG.
How can becoming undisputed champ mean so much yet didn't mean jack when he was going to go to 168 for froch or chavez jr.
Can you see the dichotomy there?

Is that the only person who can test Golovkin? Someone who will be fighting 2 divisions above Golovkin's weight? Doesn't that tell you anything?

golovkin beats lara il be the first in thread to take my L and give props. lara >> canelo and cotto imo. i had lara beating nelo, he beat paul williams, whooped trout, stopped angulo. he would be by far the best opposition golovkin has faced. now im guessing golovkin wont meet him at a catchweight either since all that "154-168" crap was hot air, well lara said hell meet him at 160. now the groupies gonna bring up network issues, call up laras team and get the ball rolling. golovkin and hopkins should never be compared, those two cut from a different cloth, golovkin is a diva that hides behind his broken english and innocent smile so groupies jump to his defense. hopkins dropped to 156 vs oscar and jumped two divisions to face LHW kingpin. ask golovkin to do that and his groupies wanna execute you.
