ggg will get the belt from the cowardly cotto-canelo winner but everything rests on lee beating saunders. saunders said he wouldn't fight ggg but lee probably will.

Yeah I don't think Warren would let Saunders fight Golovkin if he won even if Saunders wanted to.

They'd probably have to wait (and hope) for Magomedov to win the belt from Saunders in a year's time in a mandatory.

K2 will be crossing their fingers Lee comes through.

In a perfect world the lineal world middleweight champ and the best middleweight in the world should be the same man. Right now unless you think Cotto can beat GGG the lineal middleweight champ and the world's best middleweight are not the same man.

Theoretically I think he can, but they need to fight.

If you are making steak and you let it marinate too long, it goes bad.

Boxing fans are tired of letting things marinate.

Nevermind GGG and Canelo, if things keep going this way fans won't even get to see c class bums fight each other without one claiming to be the A side.

True. Really the only person waiting is GGG. Fighting C-class opponents in the interim. Cotto and Canelo are fighting each other which is a great bout. What happens after? Idk. But if the winner versus GGG doesn't come to fruition right away (and it looks like it won't), hopefully he steps it up regardless.

Golovkin has been waiting for years for his shot. Drop the ****ing belt and drain yourself back to 154 if you don't want to fight him.

It's ridiculous how every fight has to "marinate" now. **** that. It's an excuse to avoid a fight you might lose. There is no reason for Golovkin/Alvarez to marinate if Alvarez beats Cotto.

Every halfway decent fight anymore has to "marinate." It's complete bull**** these fighters and promoters use to avoid tough fights.

Marinate? Nope, gimme mines right now. I don't receive a portion of anyone's purse and a duck is a duck no matter the excuses. All this is a little premature there's nothing set in stone about who wins between Nelo and Cotto anyway.
