If they honestly only expected to do 150,000 buys they would have put it on regular HBO were they could have gotten about a million views.

Golovkin's hardcore nuthuggers are trying to make him a bigger star than he really is. People want to see these smaller guys move up to fight him but no one is asking him to go up and fight these bigger guys despite the fact that no one in his division has been to go a full 12 rounds with him.

People will not tune in to see a guy knock out guy he is expected to beat.
The funny part is what going to happen if cotto or canelo fight someone else..

Thurman made 3m for 2 fights. Free TV doesn't pay, hedge fund money does until it runs out. Quillins purse for Lee was 500k, before the overweight fine.

There was never a serious discussion about the fight, just when asked K2 said, if Ward wants 50/50 he also has to meet us in the middle in terms of weight, since Ward was inactive and only fought on BET once in 3 years.

Roc Nation didnt even try to negotiate, they didnt send an offer /counter offer or contact K2 at all about this.

All they did was sent a hoax offer months later when GGG had a PPV lined up against Lemieux and after that was mandatory of Canelo Cotto.

Ward actually tried to block GGG from being able to fight for the WBC belt and openly lied to the public he didnt know about the Lemieux fight, even though it was on all kind of media outlets.

How can you support such a pathetic liar that obviously never wanted to face GGG?

The only fact is, during the HBO meeting some time ago, when both were asked, GGG said "I am ready to face Ward", while Ward said "Uuhh uuuh, no, my shoulder, bla bla bla"

Its also well known that Ward requires a couple tune ups to be ready to fight another top guy and you ignorant folks totally ignore these FACTS so you can let your racism grow towards GGG. Pathetic!

Now keep on talking to yourself.
Thanks for summing it all up accurately brah.

well ward never made it to stardom but your point is wrong anyway. american networks were showing ward before he even became champ. were they showing ggg before ggg became champ? no. no they were not. the entire super six tournament was setup in ward's favor. froch had to fight in 4 different countries...ward 1! they groomed ward for stardom and once he got to the top he turned his back on them and demanded easy fights for big money. meanwhile in order for ggg to get noticed he had to be so impressive that the networks wanted him. ggg had to be not only good but entertaining. ward had the hometown advantage quite literally throughout his career. ggg had to start at zero and create a fanbase from nothing. ward was given a platform as soon as he turned pro and he squandered that cushy platform.

You know who the joke is? you.

First, Canelo-GGG would be for the 160 title. GGG-Ward just a regular fight.
Second, Canelo weights more than GGG at fight night, and they are both MW, whereas Ward is a light heavyweight.

                  Got it? Thanks.

Then they should vacate the lineal title and GGG becomes the champion automatically. Funny eh?

Like all programs you need sponsors for programs on television. I am also specifically referring to PBC on NBC, not Spike or BET as you still need cable television subscriptions. Quillin will continue to make more. You also have to account frequency of Haymon's lineup roster. If Quillin beats Jacobs and takes the belt, I am more than sure 2016 with 3 fights alone he can make 4million. PBC boxers are in good hands. From an objective point of view, at least casual tv goers are getting good service outside of promotion drama, like K2 in headlines saying 150k PPV was a success. Lol
