I'm guessing if Canelo offers a fight at 157 which is the halfway mark between 154-160 GGG will gladly accept next year. Ward wouldn't, and shouldn't, he can't even get to 168 anymore. No issues there, he's moving up and gonna fight Kovalev next year. We mine as well move on and look forward to that fight.

This Divide is boxing is just sinking this sport lower and lower. There was never a serious discussion about the fight, just when asked K2 said, if Ward wants 50/50 he also has to meet us in the middle in terms of weight, since Ward was inactive and only fought on BET once in 3 years.

Roc Nation didnt even try to negotiate, they didnt send an offer /counter offer or contact K2 at all about this.

All they did was sent a hoax offer months later when GGG had a PPV lined up against Lemieux and after that was mandatory of Canelo Cotto.

Ward actually tried to block GGG from being able to fight for the WBC belt and openly lied to the public he didnt know about the Lemieux fight, even though it was on all boxing sites.

How can you support such a pathetic liar that obviously never wanted to face GGG?

The only fact is, during the HBO meeting some time ago, when both were asked, GGG said "I am ready to face Ward", while Ward said "Uuhh uuuh, no, my shoulder, bla bla bla"

Its also well known that Ward requires a couple tune ups to be ready to fight another top guy and you ignorant folks totally ignore these FACTS so you can let your racism grow towards GGG. Pathetic!

To me, the huge joke is that guys who call themselves boxing fans can't understand the difference between a MW asking a LHW for a catchweight, and a MW champion asking for a catchweight in a mandatory title defence.
