It's not about what he was but about what he became. I wouldn't think any less of GGG if he had a defeat or two in his early career.

Hagler was robbed against Watts and Antuofermo. He also crushed both in rematches. That's why you shouldn't post information from boxrec when you know nothing about the fights.

Hagler had no huge amateur career learned in the pros losses were early and avenged. Vito draw a robbery and created a monster. Hagler gave away first 4 against Ray fighting righty stubbornly. If it was 15 he would have stopped him. Besides hearns Hagler used to box ****ers had good movement jab chopped them up Hagler never down or hurt. Hagler wins

Hagler would take him into deep waters and drown him.

It's too early to judge because GGG is still lacking any big name fights where he was challenged, but right now, I'd say Lewis is right.

We're truly not gonna know how good Golovkin is until his first knockdown - who KDs him, if/how he gets up, and what happens afterward.

Good post BUT to say that Hagler "would've" stopped SRL, is ******. You don't stop SRL. He ****** with Hagler in that fight at times, are you ignoring that? SRL is just a better fighter, man. Hagler is in my top 5 all-time, but Ray was better. As for GGG, he would beat his ass! Hagler's power jab was amazing. He hit Ray with it a few times as well. GGG would hit him as hard as he can and Hagler would snarl and "F" him up. LoL. He wouldn't be able to hurt Hagler. Nobody could. He said that Hearns and Mugabi were the hardest punchers he ever fought.
