Hagler had a chin made out of iron and his determination and will eclipses anything GGG has been in the ring with. When GGG has fought greats or even near greats, we can have what-if scenarios. But GGG is not in that conversation yet, and may not ever be.

I'm not a GGG fan by no means, but I think he would beat Hagler if it went down to a brawl. It's going to take a defensive fighter that knows how to control range and the ring to beat GGG. He has been fighting beer cans but you can't dismiss this dudes power by no means.

Why Hagler chose to fight righty first 4 is mind boggling he wanted to prove he could outbox him when he went into beast mode rounds ran out and Ray proved toughness fought him off with crazy combos more combos then Floyd throws in a whole fight

Hagler is one of the all time greats, GGG needs to do a lot before he can be dragged into that type of conversation. Hagler is probably the baddest MW of all time IMHO.

you gotta be kidding me. anybody comparing golovkin to HAGLER should be burned at the stake. the guys biggest wins are lemeiux and murray. we might as well start comparing danny garcia to roberto duran.
its OK to compare ggg to HAGLER, but its NOT ok to call mayweather the GOAT. tired of the bull****.
lemeiux is not even on berto's level, yet based on that win golovkin is this unstoppable beast. give me a ****in break.

A few days ago when we debated whether Duran beats Mayweather all kinds of variables came up like how Floyd never fought 15 rds and how the fighters of that era were tougher than ours..

Those variables also apply to Golovkin right you fcking clown?!

                    Hagler destroys this boy..easy.

I think if money was involved you'd put aside your fantasies/biases and bet on GGG as well. Those guys were "fun" and they were US celebrities but their barely polished slop wars wouldn't cut it against such a disciplined fighter.
