It's refreshing to have a fighter stand up to this CW ****. I for one respect Team GGG for telling Canelo to **** off.

The funny thing is, most of you who says he needs Canelo, will be the first ones to say beating Canelo means nothing, you know it.

I know the circumstances are a little different, but demanding a CW at 164, then complaining about a CW at 155, is not a good look!

That's true. Also, the title is a side show....this fight is about being the biggest (money) fight out there for both fighters and Cotto happens to have the title which ****es things up. They didn't demand anything. They offered to split the difference in weight with a much larger opponent and meet in the middle I don't recall a title being on the line either. That offer was turned down by Ward. Just as Ward wanted to drag GGG up from 160 to 168, he now wants to drag weak 168 pounders up to 175 to fight him. Ward continuing his trend of bullying but some perceptive boxing fans still refusing to admit the truth of the matter even when it is staring them in the face.

Ward is worse than Canelo.

He tries to drag b fighters up to LHW so he can batter their fat asses.

The Ward/Cotto/Canelo fans would be livid GGG tried that ****.

They defend Cotto walking his ass into the MW division.

Thats misleading. Any "champ" in a council is a champ. The context is the WBC Super champ. What you're referring to is a unifying and undisputed champ, or Lineal champ. However, K2 and Sanchez don't deserve the WBC just out of the integrity they ruin on their vocal and failed publicity stunts. Watch my video. MW champ Canelo isn't a MW, then move on.

I don't disagree with you because I feel the same way, but the fact remains, Canelo will fight at whatever weight he wants. He is the A-side and if GGG refuses then he will look like he avoided canelo. Canelo can be stripped of the title and GGG can be elevated to full champion, but GGG will be just a paper champion without any elite wins,.

No one but a few will see it that way.

I hope Cotto fights GGG, but theres no doubt it will have to be a catch weight. I hope GGG accepts, I think 157 is fair. The thing is Cotto is the money, if GGG doesn't accept the weight, Cotto will vacate and probably fight Andy Lee at a catch weight, which Lee would accept because he used to fight at 154. Andy Lee would choose Cotto over GGG due to the money. And that is a completely winnable fight for Cotto, which would result in Cotto retaining his Lineal title, becoming another world champ at Middleweight, and GGG would have to accept a catch weight because he would not be the mandatory. So if/when the fight happened it would be contested at a catch weight, better to get it over with now. Remember Andy Lee was negotiating with Cotto before Geale was chosen.

Cotto would be wise to throw in his MW belt and retire.

GGG haters are laughable. Fear is what propels hate. Cotto is way too small and Canelo, great but lacks head movement and is flat footed, which he has not been able to correct. Hence why he struggled against lara but dominated kirkland and angulo. Both guys for GGG are easy work. Why did Cotto get a crack at Martinez? Oh that's right because Lou Dibella wanted to get Martinez the best money he could, who was he technically due to fight? Golovkin so it could've very easily been Golovkin that pancakes Martinez but let's keep ignoring facts.
