Ward continuing his trend of bullying but some perceptive boxing fans still refusing to admit the truth of the matter even when it is staring them in the face.
GGG was the one who said he would go up for Froch and Chavez Jr. GGG was the one who said he would come down to 154 for Mayweather. So when he says 164 for Ward and 160 for Cotto and Canelo, he doesn't look like the "most feared man in boxing," he sounds like "a businessman." There's nothing wrong with being a sound "businessman," but don't pretend that you are different from Mayweather or Cotto, you're very similar, the only difference is you're not as popular.

The fight has been ordered by the WBC next and as a mandatory for a 160 lb title nobody can tell GGG he has to drop in weight to get his shot, if it was a voluntary defense then yes Canelo could make some demands but in this case it wont be up to him. His choices will be fight at 160 or pull a Rid**** Bowe.

It will be a shame if he were to win and dump the belt instead of facing GGG, Canelo is not a small guy and has had his last 3 fights above the jr. middleweight limit and now this one against Cotto is as well, hes obviously not a jr. middleweight anymore. Hes been camping out in between divisions for a year and a half now but still not ready? That's bull****.

Besides all the b.s from the b.s ,one thing is right .Its a middleweight belt so you have to fight and defend it weather you're under or at the 160 weight Limit that's the belt your holding.Since when does a middleweight champ, not want to fight a middleweight, couse the other guy's a middleweight and you don't think your a middleweight , but you call yourself the middleweight champ ,but don't want to fight middleweights, then your not the middleweight champ ? LOL cmon now.

Thats misleading. Any "champ" in a council is a champ. The context is the WBC Super champ. What you're referring to is a unifying and undisputed champ, or Lineal champ. However, K2 and Sanchez don't deserve the WBC just out of the integrity they ruin on their vocal and failed publicity stunts. Watch my video. See if you get the point about cntradictions and failed promises.

You can't really complain with what they're saying, I've been saying the same thing too and its true you need to view in this fashion If GGG goes to 161 and takes the WBC SMW title and only fights people who will move down every time for him and this is the only way you get a shot at that title.
Catchweights should be one offs not constant fight stipulations that have to be agreed on to make a certain weight class fight happen that is just beyond silly.

                  just ban catchweights

smaller fighters could still fight for the title but it would be a one off, make history sorta deal then they'd move back down and everyone would enjoy the parade

this fight 5 times in a row at 155 and fight a guy who won the title at 159 lbs at 153 lbs **** is depressing

Catchweights are cool, they just shouldn't be allowed for title fights. Problem is that there is a difference between a title fight and a "mega-fight." The WBC can strip Cotto or Canelo, and give GGG the title, but GGG can't get a "mega-fight" without Cotto, Canelo, Mayweather, Pacquiao, or Andre Ward.
