The predictions clearly show this because I voted the same as some GGG diehards.

in your mind, my vote was one designed for failure. SO were the GGG fans like you and others that made approximately the same prediction doing so for the same reason?
I gave my explanation as to where my prediction came from (I overestimated HBO's marketing strength)

How other people reached their predictions is of minor importance to me, and is something each person needs to reconcile with themselves......

OK, I was just wondering if you felt the GGG fans that predicted the same number (or more) than I did this so they could GUARANTEE it would fail like you said I did.

Why does it even matter if posters on NSB predicted a higher PPV buy or not, as if posters on NSB are a reliable source for PPV predictions? lol

I agree with Loeffler where he said he's surprised by some bizarre comments and reactions. People are acting like this is a Mayweather or Pacquiao PPV type situation, where the numbers were important (at least to the two sides and fanbases for whatever reasons). This was a PPV with David Lemieux as a headline lol. Before the fight, it never once occurred to me that the total PPV buys would end up being such a big deal to people. I thought it was assumed by everyone this would be a small time PPV.

You had to see our whole convo yesterday and today. One Punch said I predicted 300-350k sales because that GUARANTEED failure. I was just responding to that. Predictions do not matter.

the decent GGG fans like you need to undestand Most of the reaction is directed toward the scumbag wing of GGG's fanbase-the trolls and race baiters- and Loeffler.

They all went a lil crazy with stuff about how big GGG is, a sides to ward, cotto and canelo etc etc., prior to the fight. As a result, post fight, no one is talking about the positives from the fight.

Oh I still don't care that FightHype reported 150k. I am using the number 150,000 as it is the number Iole reports came out of Loeffler's mouth. If the latter had been a different number than FightHype, I would have used that number instead.

I don't necessarily distrust FightHype though, I am just skeptical of numbers released that early.

Sure I think there were those whose affection for GGG to allow themselves to get caught up in the hype a bit (even Loeffler). Those same folks are also quick to believe the 389k number Glaser put out for Floyd-Berto. But even though my prediction was under 300k, I would have been quite pleased to see it do 350 or 400k buys. I just didnt think that was realistic at this stage, being as he has only been on US tv for 3 years.......

Bottom line though on the whole thing is that they arent giving me a piece of the sales, so my thoughts or predictions dont matter much. And as long as HBO and K2 are happy with it, then I guess thats all that matters.

The Blue Jays choked on a 14-2 dyck in game 4 they are done in KC.

PPV blows. Who cares about how much this guy and that guy PPV sales were. It's starting to sound like hip hop/rap record sales in this forum now lol. GGG sold out the garden is still a good sign the sport is still alive
