One of these days something tragic would happen because of these mismatches. The Salsa fight was probably the most notorious of them all and I thought Salsa won't be able to get up from that KO punch of Garcia. Sad part was they never learn and they gave him another Salsa in Malignaggi.

Just recently saw Quillin's ferocity in his recent mismatched fight. His opponent ended up on a stretcher. These Salsa fighters should be compensated properly if you ask me.

But seriously, Who are they getting on 4 weeks notice? We all know Andre has been training. This guy continually sabotages his career.

I think its more of Virgil Hunter who has always micro-managed his every move. Prior to the Super 6 he was babied very carefully (which is why I was never really a fan until after)

If you recall they wanted an easier fight than Edwin Rodriguez way back when but HBO forced that fight to happen and it was a near shut out. I just think his team overmanages risk.

Bad look for Ward. Trying to fight a guy so overmatched the commission rejected it?

Maybe he should stick to commentating then.

Ward wanted to fight a guy so bad that he got vetoed? Wow.

Good. That fight was a waste of time. Is it possible to get someone decent this close to the fight though?

NSAC trying to get some good attention or something. Seen way worse mismatches sanctioned (legit contenders fighting guys on impressive losing streaks or known quality fighters vs known ****ty fighters) in Nevada & other states. Not complaining with that much passion cuz this was for sure a bs fight for Ward & I'd love to see this happening on a much wider scale, but I've sen way worse sanctioned & I'm sure if I glanced over the last 10 or so Nevada cards could would easily find at least 3 worse mismatches.

that says a lot if a corrupt org like nsac disapproves your opponent.
